I'm Marten
— also going by tiyn.

I'm a Master's student in Computer Science focusing on machine learning, computer vision and deep learning. I am particularly interested in human-centered AI systems that support individual autonomy rather than undermine it.

Alongside my studies, I work in applied AI research on quality assurance and cyber-physical systems.

I enjoy building clean development environments — especially lightweight Linux systems, simple tools and reproducible server setups.

Outside of work and research, I practice fencing and enjoy reading about philosophy, technology and society.
